Many people want to speak out against right-wing extremism and join demonstrations, but struggle to find the right words or signs to hold up. This idea puts the power of creative copywriting directly into the hands of democracy.
Scholz & Friends develops compelling protest lines available as ready-made placards, downloadable designs, or newspaper cut-outs.
Since the next demonstration was just a few days later and this is a highly political sensitive decision we couldn't launch it as Scholz & Friends officially. Instead, we took personal action – mobilising our creative copywriters to develop protest lines and printing them ourselves with unofficial agency support.
The response at the demonstration was overwhelming, with many protesters grateful to grab our placards. Following this spreading success, Scholz & Friends officially launched the internal initiative "Friends 4 Democracy".
